The first Panhead engine with the modern and stretched up wishbone frame, ,for this year only the Pan covers where made of chrome plated steel, later years covers will be made out of stainless steel and late models from aluminum, the new engine equipped with hydraulic lifters which suppose to provide less maintenance and lower working temperatures, ,the Stewart-Warner speedometer is the "edge lighted" type, here shown with the Optional Deluxe Solo Saddle and fender emblem, 4 different colors where available, the FL model is 74 ci. provide 50 HP at 4800 rpm, used to call "King of Highway"...
