1952 was the official year of the foot shift and hand clutch, 1952 was also the first year of the clutch booster. although hand shifting was still available till the late '60 by 1953 H-D where selling much more foot shift bikes, its the first year to offer factory fitted turn signals 1949 bullet style, the Duluxe OHV nameplates on the front fender (1952-1954 but only on the solo deluxe model), five standard and three optional metalic colors where available, 1952 was the last year of the low compression and 61ci Panhead engines. the oiling system was updated with addition of a screen and check valve in order to overcome oil clogging, rotating and parkerized exhoust valves, and newer generator model. 1952 saw few changes in the frame like the change in the toolbox bracket and rear fender near the chain...
