Harley Davidson Knucklehead Engine 1936

1936 was the year of the first Knucklehead Engine. early 36 engines are class by themselves and will change quickly even during the first year. some of the external characteristics of this years are the bare rockers, you could see the rockers movement while engine turning, the notch cam cover that will disappear quickly, the intake manifold and oil lines route up in the y shape. the timing is controlled by a vertical stud pass through routed plate. the oil pressure was routed to the dashboard with long tube. pressure gauge was part of the early cat eye instruments dash, the famous knuckle nuts could be found with dome covers or in hex form...
